Will Chute, Owner

Following in the footsteps of generations of Maine men who built their own homes, in 1972 Will Chute designed and built his first of several homes that incorporated many energy-efficient building design elements and made extensive use of both passive and active solar energy systems.

 

With an MBA, an extensive background in corporate operations and financial administration, more than 35 years of experience in building design and development and construction management, and as a California-licensed general contractor and a fine woodworker and cabinetmaker, Will brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, talent and mindful craftsmanship to his work.

Will has a deep-rooted love of the natural world and all things in it. His respect for the earth is manifested in doing the work he loves – helping others make their homes more comfortable and pleasing to live in, less costly to them and to the planet, and healthier and safer.
